The Eldership is glad to announce
that SonRise Bible Church is open!
The following precautions will be implemented for all people when on the church property.
1) Wearing a face mask is strongly encouraged for the protection and increased comfort level for all people, and demonstrates compassion and consideration toward others.
2) Please refrain from attending any ministry functions at the church facility if feeling ill, having any symptoms of Covid 19, or experiencing underlying medical conditions resulting in vulnerability for serious illness.
3) Social distancing of no less than six feet will be required before, during, and after church, and for all ministry activities
4) Seating will be arranged in the sanctuary to help maintain social distancing during the Worship Service. A second Worship Service will be provided if the number of people attending make it difficult to maintain social distancing.
5) Sunday School will meet in the fellowship hall to maintain social distancing. Seating will be arranged to help maintain social distancing.
6) Children may stay with parents or guardians during the worship service. If necessary, rooms will be provided if parents or guardians need to have their child leave the sanctuary.
7) Midweek and Saturday discipleship groups will meet in the fellowship hall and maintain social distancing.
8) The Lord’s Supper will be observed with a single-serving sealed juice and wafer cup that can be picked up from a table when entering the sanctuary.
9) Financial offering receptacles will be provided. An offering may be placed anytime in any of several offering receptacles in the sanctuary and lobby. Offerings may continue to be given online, or mailed to the church address.
10) The main entry doors of the church will be propped open to eliminate touching the door handles
11) No name-tags will be provided to eliminate the touching of the Welcome Booth countertop, name-tags, and pens
12) Trash receptacles will be provided outside the doors of the main restrooms. This allows for using the same paper towel to dry hands, turn off faucet, open door to exit restroom, and dispose of paper towel in trash receptacle outside of restroom. Restroom door handles will be altered so that entrance into the restroom will only require pushing the door open and not require touching the door handle.
13) Bulletins will not be handed to people but will be spread on a table to prevent touching more than one bulletin
14) Please bring Bible (hard-copy or app) and pen with you. Bibles and pens currently in the seats of the sanctuary will be removed.
15) No food or beverage will be provided by the church. People are welcome to bring their own individual water bottle.
